Wayne Rooney’s Coronavirus Test – Derby player Wayne Rooney reveals he has tested negative for coronavirus but still has to miss next three matches.
The England player has expressed his anger and disappointment that he would have to self-isolate and thus miss the next match.
Wayne Rooney was subjected to this coronavirus test after he was visited by a friend who was later found to be with the virus.
According to the initial report from The Sun, the former England captain – now player-coach at Championship side Derby – was “seething” after infected entrepreneur Josh Bardsley visited him on Thursday to give him a watch.
He tweeted: “Just received the news that my covid-19 test has shown I do not have the virus. Delighted for myself and family but obviously angry and disappointed that I now have to self-isolate and miss vital games for @dcfcofficial.”
